Sunday- Sunday did not start well as I feared/expected Sandy put the North Sydney Girls in one cabin and me in another. Although if we must look on the sunny side of life I'm so happy Sandy put my in Birch as opposed to Maple..I don't think I could of spent a week with the people in that cabin. Let's see I think Sunday we went to German Point...and that is where not only did I find a rock that looks like Idaho but that Danielle, Emily, Jocelyn, Justine, Eleni, Megan, Kelly and Stephanie all a certain someone...I've never laughed so much when I found out he used to go to school with them...Thompson Idol all the way...To summerize the whole realization I sure do know how to pick members of the opposite sex. Sunday night we were up really late playing the fourtune cookie game (Yey Danielle Curry!!) and eating other junk food and talking. Jill made us go to bed around 1 or 2 I don't know.
Monday- Monday it's self is very blury perhaps there was some rock playing and drama games? I don't know. In anycase Monday night Sandy announced Night Game and major funness ensued. Our team (the only all girl team) was compliled of Myself, Amy-Jean, Dani Ivey, Kelly, Emily, Brinleigh and Stephanie..(I'm forgetting someone and I feel really bad but I need sleep.) Anyway much to our group's amusment and an added advantage as the game would have it Dani decided she'd strap on the sparkly gold helmet that was kicking around the main building (At this point we, including Danielle had no idea said helmet had been found at the end of somebody's drive-way for the garbage truck to take it away, luckily Michelle apparently has a thing for shiny things and rescued the helmet.) We set off in seach of the cities on our list and were being very succesful in naming 7 Johnny Depp movies and deciding Sandy's glowstick was there to show us where to turn at. When we stumbled upon Michelle at the campfire pit..somehow or another we got the idea to put Dani upside down with nothing but her head on the ground and us other group membets spin her around. It was quiet the site. And quite possibly assisted in us winning my very first night game ever. In all my 12+ weeks as a Mira Pines Camper until Monday night I'd never won a night game. Go us and Michelle's garbage collecting.
Tuesday- (maybe this was Wendsday I'm not really sure days get very blurred together at camp) We (Cabin Birch) went on a grand canoe adventure that resulted in many memorable moments. First off I was in a canoe with Sandy and we ended up with the smallest possible canoe thus...Sandy didn't really fit in it. None the less we set out for the little stream thing where we ended the paddling part and began the walking part. The walk there wasn't so amusing it was the one back that was teh best. First off Erin decides that while she's wadding through swap water and gross mud stuff in barefeet she'll sing the ABC's...a fool proof plan; until she looses the retainer in the gross swap water. Never fear after yelling "Oh No My Retainer!!!" she simply scooped it up and put it directly back in her mouth...atta girl. Then we get back to the canoes and I go to get in mine and Sandy's only my balance was slightly off so I yelled "Ah Flanders" and proceeded to fall out of the canoe backwards into the water. Go me. (After some though I think this might of been Wendsday...)
Wendsday- (This might be Tuesday I don't know) Joe and Billy got lost...that was amusing-ish although it took some time to locate them. We played the best game of Doctor Dodge Ball ever that involved Mike saying half to himself/anyone who was listeing "That poor German girl" as Christin was being cahsed aroudn teh field by 4 15 year olds who were pelting her with dodgeballs. That night we watched Friday Night Lights and it was a good move 'cos there was Tim McGraw. Amy-Jean also wrote an awesome poem.
Thursday- Thursday's main event was the end of year Banquet and as always mass chaos unfolded. People were everywhere, campers were everywhere (some in the dark due to blowing fuses in the cabins after excess hair dryers/strighters/irons being plugged in.) It was acually pretty fun though Steve did an amazing job on my eye make-up. Like seriously the kid is better at putting eyeshadow on then I am and he applied eye liner without jabbing my eye out. The dance was also pretty fun lots of Shane dancing and Mr.Jones singing. I had a clap-on moment concernign Amy-Jean's poem
Friday- Fridays are sad and I hate taking the sheet off my matress and rolling up my sleeping bag 'cos it's very depressing. 2 o'clock came wayy to fast and I don't even know what we did besides C.E. The awards were halarious. Mostly it was the stories that went with the awards though. For future refrence I recived the "Flanders" award. Go me and my non profane ways.
I know there's a ton of stuff I'm missing. It makes me sad that I don't remember everything that happens. There's a ton more stuff I want to write but at the present moment it's late and I'm sleepy. Perhaps tomorrow I will post the best moments of Mira Pines Senior Mix 2005.
